7th House Birth Services of Spokane is dedicated to providing women with education and support for their pregnancy, birth, and post-partum needs. Katrina Weissig has been a labor doula for several years with experience in both home and hospital births. With training in use of a TENS unit and rebozo, she has quite a full bag of tricks! She has received training in Lamaze childbirth education and is working toward becoming certified as a Lamaze childbirth educator, while teaching Passion for Birth style classes designed to kick the "boring" out of traditional childbirth classes! Katrina has also gone through a breastfeeding course and received her lactation educator certificate. Breastfeeding support is important to new moms and Katrina is excited to be able to bring this new level of support and education to the families she is involved with.

7th House is the dream of one woman who wants more than anything to support her sisters in the Spokane area. In her early years she experienced almost anything a woman can go through and survived. Her goal is to provide emotional and educational support for the women of the Inland Northwest, no matter their age, race, religious background, social status, educational level, employment status, sexual orientation, or financial situation.
